INAH closes archaeological sites and museums

La Jornada, April 29, 2009. In reaction to the outbreak of swine flu the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia in Mexico has decided to close the 175 archaeological sites and their associated site museums until further notice. Earlier INAH had closed museums in Mexico City and the surrounding metropolitan area.
